Welcome back to the humble quest board! We got 5 more lovely shows for your consideration, so let’s not waste time and get straight into it!
First up on the slate, We are goin a bit farther out then we normally do! Its time to start including Rhode Island on the Board, and no mention of RI is complete without Quahog Emo Presents, which is why we are starting off with a wonderful Emo Nite featuring Dim, Better Living, Haunt Dog, Trophy Hunt, and Depopulate Montana at The News Café in Pawtucket, on 8/15, and this one might just have one of the best posters I’ve ever seen. Love the RuneScape themes.
Moving on, we are staying in RI, but this time moving over to Providence, for an absolutely massive show at the beloved AS220. The slasher horror theme is very on point, as these hardcore and Scramz bands will make sure you feel like you just escaped a fight with Jason Voorhees himself. Come see Nailed Shut, Final Resting Pose, I Have No Mouth, Seven Crimson Suns, Sophisticated Adult, and many more on September 13.
We move back to Massachusetts, this time to Faces Brewing in Malden for some fun indie and alt rock takes on the emo and punk music you know and love, with Annabel, Perennial, and Little Low. This one goes down TONIGHT!!!!!!! So get out of where ever you are reading this from, unless its your car, in which case rev up that engine and get to this show! Doors open at 8!
Batting out of the cleanup, we have another show happening TONIGHT, this time for all you North Shore friends! Its a heavy, slamming hardcore gig at Sammys in Revere, with Devitalized, Slugs, Cooked Alive, Quarantined, and Pretty Ugly, ready to absolutely rock the roof off this place. If you pull up to this one, forget keeping your hands and feet inside the ride at all times. Get ready to rumble at 7pm!
The final show of this edition, we go back to 4th wall for some spaced out vibes of different flavors, Misuser bringing the alt rock, Jimrat bringing the emo, and Exit 18 bringing the rock, seasoned with just a touch of absolute heaviness. Misuser is also doing visauls for the entire show, so this one is just as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the ears. This beauty is happening on 8/24, at 9 pm!
